Working with the construction and refurbishment specialist contractor, Desertoak Limited of Evesham, under the direction of Haines Phillips Architects, Strada London was commissioned to provide the ironmongery for the museum. With both the restoration of Handel’s house and the later refurbishment of the Hendrix flat being possible only due to the award of Heritage Lottery Fund grants, the projects were high profile and so the specification of the architectural hardware was extremely important.
