Strada wins a huge contract to supply the ironmongery for the new St Bernard’s Hospital in Gibraltar

Strada supplies the architectural hardware for London’s new exhibition centre, ExCeL

2006

To accommodate growth, the company moves to new premises in Forest Hill that are five times larger than the previous site

2011

A contract is secured for HM Kensington Palace

2012

Strada is awarded two major London contracts: the Hippodrome Casino and the award-winning residential development, NEO Bankside

2014

Strada rebrands as Strada London

2022

Strada London relocates to new-build premises in Wrotham, Sevenoaks providing larger operational space to better serve project requirements

Architectural ironmongery since 1850

Founded by William Woodcock in 1850, this family business was initially focused on real estate, but switched its focus to the potential of the expanding kitchen manufacturing market in the 1980s. As a result, they became specialists in kitchen hardware and soon took the opportunity to diversify into all types of household ironmongery. The success of this venture ultimately led to the company rebranding as Strada in 1981. Still a partnership today, the business is now in the hands of the current generation of Woodcocks.
