Strada supplies the architectural hardware for London’s new exhibition centre, ExCeL

To accommodate growth, the company moves to new premises in Forest Hill that are five times larger than the previous site

2011

A contract is secured for HM Kensington Palace

2012

Strada is awarded two major London contracts: the Hippodrome Casino and the award-winning residential development, NEO Bankside

2014

Strada rebrands as Strada London

2022

Strada London relocates to new-build premises in Wrotham, Sevenoaks providing larger operational space to better serve project requirements

Our Story

Established in 1850 by William Woodcock, the family business ventured on a real estate journey. In a strategic shift during the 1980s, they acknowledged the burgeoning kitchen manufacturing market’s potential. Evolving into kitchen hardware specialists, the venture flourished, prompting a natural progression into various household ironmongery. This triumph laid the foundation for a pivotal rebranding in 1981, transforming the company into Strada. Today, still operating as a partnership, the business is a testament to the Woodcock family’s enduring legacy. Guided by the vision and ingenuity of the current generation, Strada continues to shape the industry landscape with a rich history of adaptation, innovation, and unwavering commitment.
