Set in five Grade II listed Victorian townhouses, The Laslett opened its doors in Notting Hill in August 2015. Just a short walk from the market stalls and antique shops of Portobello Road, the hotel’s interior takes inspiration from the cultural vitality of the neighbourhood. Named after Rhaune Laslett, the local activist who organised the original festival that would eventually evolve into the famous Notting Hill Carnival, the hotel offers guests a modern, home-from-home charm. Strada London supplied ironmongery to suit the 51 guest rooms and suites, as well as The Henderson Bar and Coffee Shop, library and boutique store – showcasing the work of artists and designers – on the ground floor. With elegant and eclectic styling by the renowned London studio, Waldo Works, the interior design is quintessentially British.
