Mintel, the world’s leading market intelligence agency, recently acquired and refurbished satellite premises in Playhouse Yard, Blackfriars, close to its UK headquarters in the heart of the City. Under the direction of Suzanne Brewer, a Grand Designs award winner, the overhaul of the 18,000 sq ft offices has resulted in a vibrant and contemporary look that reflects the company’s progressive and creative culture. The social spaces even include a beach-style bar with drinks and snacks conveyor, as well as games of pool and table football.
Amid bold splashes of colour and striking wall art, there are elements of retro design that give an eclectic feel to the project. Strada London supplied door furniture and other architectural hardware from its Hoxton collection – renowned for its longevity in high-traffic areas – to complement Mintel’s modern interiors.
