Originally built in 1850, the mansion at Sondes Place has been restored to its original grandeur – and Strada London was more than happy to help. The project comprised of 6 high-specification apartments within the original house and when Strada was asked to prepare the ironmongery schedule for surrey-based developer Twist, we were delighted to be able to add to the luxurious aesthetic of the property. Strada provided a full architectural ironmongery specification to the project for internal doors, external doors and windows. Supplied elements included PAS 24-Certified Security Locks for the apartment entrance doors, bespoke apartment numerals, sash window furniture and statement main entrance door fittings. The principal products used for the project were from the Berkeley Collection. However, the lever handle design was a special edition of the Gio Ponti design lever handle with an extended-length grip to suit the detailing and size of the doors of Sondes Place.
